On 04th of June, representatives from Austrian Development Agency (ADA), Edith Mychalewicz – Programme Manager South Caucasus, South-East Europe and Sandra Wibmer – Advisor Environment and Natural Resources have visited LDF and SUSI-LDF project beneficiaries. The mentioned representatives were associated by Head of Office in Prishtina Mr. Gunther Zimmer and Mr. Arsim Aziri, Head of Administration.
The visit has started with a meeting with ADA’s representative, LDF staff and Director of Directorate for Agriculture and Rural Development in Suhareke/ Suva Reka. During this meeting LDF staff has reported up to date SUSI-LDF Phase 2 project activities concluded including the main achievements and plans for the future development. Also it was discussed on environment, gender, women’s and youth issues and their involvement in the economic development activities. In addition, Director of Directorate for Agriculture and Rural Development praised the support and given contribution to further development of agriculture and rural sectors in Municipality of Suhareke/ Suva Reka.
After the meeting 4 beneficiaries of SUSI-LDF have been visited: visit in Qadrak village, Mr.Fadil Vrella (Dairy Farm); visit in Krushice village, Mrs. Nazlije Kabashi (Dairy Farm); visit in Studenqan village, Mrs. Miradije Kabashi (processing facility) and visit in Semetisht village, Mr. Feriz Bytyqi (Cattle rearing farm). During the field visits to the beneficiaries have been presented the main achievements as a result of grant provision financed by Austrian Development Agency.
