Chair of Local Development Fund Foundation Mr. Michael Gold is a banking investor and management consultant for more than 34 years. On last 20 years he was member of the markets in development in Central and Eastern Europe, in Balkan, Africa, Asia, Latin America and former Soviet Union. His specialization include increase of access to finances, Development of small and medium enterprises, Privatization, Foreign direct investments and Legal and regulations reforms. He is Managing Director and CEO of Crimson Capital Corporation which oversees actually portfolio of more than 20 projects, 2 investment/Lending funds, and 5 master contracts in four continents.
Alban Ibrahimi is the Vice Chair of LDF Foundation since March, 2015. He is Executive Director of the private company Frutomania – MOEA since July 2010. He has long experience working with the civil society and private sector. Before joining Frutomania – MOEA, he worked as a Senior Project Manager (2007-2010), Project Manager (2004-2007), he has managed START project (2004-2005) and as a coordinator for monitoring and evaluation (2001-2003) at CARE International Kosova. Alban also worked as Grant Manager for Institute for Sustainable Communities (2008-2009).
His education includes Mechanical Engineering studies (incomplete), University of Prishtina and MBA, University of Sheffield.
Mrs. Njomëza Zejnullahu is in the position of LDF Treasurer since August, 2015. She is currently a legal expert, possesses nine years of experience across private and public sector in Kosovo. Throughout this tenure, Ms. Zejnullahu developed an extensive experience in economic, commercial and other related fields of law. Her areas of expertise include company law, contract law, banking law, procurement law, public-private partnerships, property law and insurance law.
Mrs.Zejnullahu has worked in different institutions and projects both in private and public sector. Of significant importance is her involvement with different projects in assistance to the Kosovo institutions for the purpose of economic growth and institutional assistance such as: Growth and Fiscal Stability Initiative (USAID Project), Support to Kosovo Institutions in the Field of Data protection (EU Project) and Empower Credit Support (USAID Project). She is also closely familiar with private sector having worked in banking sector for 5 year and consulting services for 4 years.
She holds two bachelor degrees in Law and Political Science, Master Degree in Financial Law and currently is a PhD Candidate in Law at European Faculty of Law in Slovenia. She speaks fluently Albanian, English, Serbian and Turkish. She is also a lecturer in Law and holds an Associate level at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
